THE Provincial Government announced last night that classes in all levels in both private and public schools are suspended today, Feb. 13, as a precaution for the arrival of typhoon Basyang.

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) deployed teams in southern Cebu.

Julius Regner, PDRRMO public information officer, said, “We have two teams deployed to the southern part of Cebu just to monitor the preparations there.” Regner hoped the local councils wouldconvene to prepare for typhoon Basyang and leave nothing to chance.
