50 cargo containers at CIP undergo spot inspection
BUREAU of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Isidro Lapeña conducted a spot inspection on 50 cargo containers at the Cebu International Port (CIP) to check their import vales.
This, after Lapeña turned over the position of Port of Cebu district collector from Wivina Pumatong to lawyer Elvira Cruz yesterday afternoon.
“I am always roaming around the country to conduct spot inspection on imported cargoes and come up with the right valuation and collect the revenue that is due to the government,” Lapena told SunStar Cebu.
