P1.6M worth of marijuana uprooted in Balamban
THE Balamban Police Station and the 47th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army uprooted and destroyed P1.6 million worth of fully grown marijuana plants in Barangay Bayong, Balamban, Cebu.
The joint operation was conducted on Friday, December 15, in a protected area where the police and the army burned 8,341 marijuana plants on site.
No one was arrested while investigation is ongoing to identify the cultivators of the plantation. (JOB/SunStar Cebu)
