2 missing women in Lapu found dead in Leyte
THE two women who were missing after collecting shellfish in Buaya Village, Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday were found dead in Leyte Saturday morning, October 21.
The victims were Helen Gingco, 25 and Jenny Rose Tormon, 29.
In a report from dySS radio, the bodies of the victims were sent to a funeral home in Albuera, Leyte.
Last Sunday, Gingco visited her friend’s boarding house in Buaya and agreed to collect shellfish in Sitio Saac in the same village along with two other friends.
While they were gleaning shellfish, a heavy downpour happened.
