PDEA on drug war responsibility: 'Kakayanin namin'
THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) leadership said they will take the full responsibility on the anti-illegal drugs operations.
PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, in a press statement, said they will fulfill their mandate, following President Rodrigo Duterte’s issuance of a memorandum, which stated that PDEA shall be the sole agency on war on illegal drugs, despite its lack of manpower.
“Kakayanin (We can do it),” Aquino said. “PDEA will accept the challenge as directed by the President.”
